1935 Packard Super 8 1205 Deitrich Convertible Sedan
 

 
 

Here is one example of many problems we encountered directly attributed to a lack of photos,
labels and documentation. The other shop had begun reassembly and installed the bolts into the
front leaf spring front mounts facing the wrong way. The assumption was costly to the owner,
we had to carefully unbolt the front springs, repair and repaint the
fender undersides and hardware then reassemble it.

Labeling, photographing and organized storage of parts is an important element of the restoration process.
Yes, it does take some time but it is more efficient and less costly to organize during restoration than to spend hours guessing later.
