1935 Packard Super 8 1205 Deitrich Convertible Sedan

The right rear door structure is done. The skins are used for fit as the coach is being built.
As the metal is installed for a final time, some minor filing may be done for that perfect fit.

It is starting to resemble a car body once again. Notice the coachwork is done on a jig,
this time appropriately built.

This is the corner block on the lower right A pillar of the Packard.
The white near the bottom of the wood is the epoxy glue substance injected into the wood
to try and save it. A fruitless and hopeful attempt. Products claiming to 'save' the wood
are marketed to the restoration set but they really don't work. It clearly didn't help even for a while-
remember the body changing shape when it was moved? You can see the wood is
brittle beyond the glue and it simply falls apart at that point.
