This 1956 Chevrolet 210 once belonged to its owners father and now sits atop a Paul Newman Chassis sporting ZO4 suspension with ZO6 brakes and is powered by a LSX small block backed by a L80E transmission. We decided upon using an interior from a 1964 Thunderbird and ultimatley chose to install the entire floor from the Thunderbird which gave us the seats and concoles mounting points and a large transmission tunnel to clear the L80E transmission. We grafted the 56 quarter garnish to the Thunderbird rear seat wrap around package tray and integrated rear speakers and tweeters. We also modified the lower dash of the 56 to accept the Thunderbird concole which we installed a GPS system and electronic shifter from a Cadillac. MHT Foose custom wheels were chosen to accomidate the wide stance of the chassis. When finished in black this ride should garner lots of attention and satisfy its owners need for speed and comfort!
